O Christmas Tree

Putting up the Christmas tree is on of my favorite things about Christmas tree. The twinkling lights, the shimmering ornaments, endless possibilities for creativity, the overall beauty brings---all this brings me much satisfaction. Some years I use blue, some gold, and others the traditional red. This year it's PINK! It is fun to mix it up.

A full view! I almost have the presents wrapped.

A little closer shot. I really like the white birds!

Butterflies and watering cans bring in my love for nature and gardening.

On the fancy side! A little Victorian shoe!

My little gardener makes me think of spring!

A gift from a friend! She approves of my pink tree.

Right down to the wrapping paper! It looks so pretty when the packages match!
Gotta' love pink velvet ribbon!

And something fun for the grandkids! I was so surprised to find this one at K-Mart!

Thanking God for the gift of his son---and for family and friends. A Merry Christmas to all!

The tree is beautiful. What a treat to have something different and unique. The kids will love the wrapping paper.
I am still pondering the outfit I will wear. Today I have a bunch of kids here, so I wont be doing much in the way of wedding or Christmas. Glad I ran around yesterday because I hate to drive in the snow.
Have a great celebration... family is such a treat for Christmas (o: God is good.

Christmas blessings to you dear friend! Love the tree-you have such a gift for creating beautiful things. Pink is one of my favorite colors. Glad you've got everything under control and now can just enjoy.

Your Christmas tree is just beautiful! I like to do my trees different too but this year I just did one tree and put on the old faithfuls that I have had for years. Ones that my son made in grade school (he's now 34!) and special ones given to me by friends. Some years I do awhat I call my Victorian tree with burgandy and pink and it is very pretty.

I have been reading down through some of your posts and enjoying them very much. I must get the book about aging gracefully as I see the ravages of time on my face each time I look in the mirror and some times I feel blah, but then I think I have earned each one of those gray hairs that are coming up as roots in my colored hair! lol! Thanks for telling us about the book, I think I will pick it up to take with me as we have a trip coming up.

A candy taster eh? Now that would be a great occupation! Don't you just love the things that kids come up with??

The pictures you posted are just beautiful! Some of them looked like the coast of Maine with all of the fishing boats.

We have a snow storm coming in tonight but today is sunny and lovely out. Lots of rain yesterday that took off a lot of the snow that we already had. Guess I won't be snowmobiling for a while yet!

Take care and thanks for stopping by, come again soon! :o)

I love the pink and the matching pink, green and white presents with the beautiful pink bows.
Oh my! Too pretty to open :) And yes, the white birds are so lovely..and the butterfly and watering cans and garden angel. All perfect! You must've loved putting it all together.
I hope your Christmas with family was wonderful. We had such a lovely time with all the kids home.
